Ready made Formats for Essay Writing in PTE - Academic

In PTE-Academic there are three types of questions that are asked when it comes to essay writing. Those are mentioned below:

3 Types of Questions:
Type A: Agree/Disagree
Type B: Discuss your opinion - both the views for and against/bad and good etc.
Type C: Causes & Solutions/ Problems & Suggestions

I am helping you with the FORMATS of each of three types of questions that can be used in PTE Academic to achieve success.

TYPE 1 -
You should start with the introduction that appropriately explains the question/problem statement and also sets the base for argument/discussion in the following essay.

INTRO:
What is the Matter? What is/are the Relevance? What is the Issue?
(last line of intro)The last line can be: This issue has sparkled a great debate in the society.

Next follows the body of the essay. This is where you should start the discussion and give the pro or cons (only one at a time)

BODY I
I completely/ partially agree with the given statement. There are various factors which make me believe so. To start with, the major point is [1st point & 2/3 justification sentences]. In addition to it, [2nd point & 2/3 justification sentences]

BODY – II
If same tone (either completely agree/disagree) -
If we further evaluate, there are some more aspects of this question which make my reasoning stronger.
[1st point & 2/3 justification sentences]. Apart from this, [2nd point & 2/3 justification sentences]

If different tone (to some extent you agree/disagree) -
As every coin has flip sides, so as this matter has some diametrically opposite views. There are other school of thoughts who thinks [what's the opinion write in one sentence]. [1st point & 2/3 justification sentences]. Apart from this, [2nd point & 2/3 justification sentences]

CONCLUSION -
To put it in a nutshell, as I have established the viewpoints,
(if you completely agree/disagree) I find only merits/demerits in this matter.
(if you gave both the opinion and then taking a side) merits outperform demerits OR demerits outperform merits.

TYPE 2
INTRO:
(last line of intro) What is the Matter? What is/are the Relevance? What is the Issue?
The last line can be: This issue has sparkled a great debate in the society.

BODY I
Type 2 – (view of 1st group)T [1st point & 2/3 justification sentences]. In addition to it, [2nd point & 2/3 justification sentences]

BODY– II
(View of 2nd group) As every coin has flip sides, so as this matter has some diametrically opposite views. There are other school of thoughts who thinks [what's the opinion write in one sentence]. [1st point & 2/3 justification sentences]. Apart from this, [2nd point & 2/3 justification sentences]

CONCLUSION-
To put it in a nutshell, as I have established the viewpoints, the justification of 1st group outperform the reasons cited by 2nd group OR  the justification of 2nd group outperform the reasons cited by 1st  group.




TYPE 3
Intro: What is the Matter? What is/are the Relevance? What is the Issue?
(last line of intro)This issue has become one of the major concerns of the society.

Body I
Type 3 – To evaluate the causes behind the scenario we need to get into the depth of it. To start with, the major reason is [1st point & 2/3 justification sentences]. In addition to it, [2nd point & 2/3 justification sentences]

Body – II
Type 3 – As every cloud has silver lining, so as this concern can be resolved by taking some immediate and necessary steps. The first step that should be taken is, [1st point & 2/3 justification sentences]. Apart from this, [2nd point & 2/3 justification sentences]

Conclusion -

Type 3 - To put it in a nutshell, as I have established the viewpoints, we can combat any evil of the society by implementing proper measures. It only requires a conscious effort.
